About Project.

A practical Erasmus+ partnership for
healthier family routines.

Fit for the Future is a 10-month Erasmus+ KA210 small-scale partnership between Stichting The Beach in Amsterdam and Tuzla Municipality in Istanbul. The project helps women, families, children, educators, and local professionals build accessible activities around healthy nutrition, healthy movement, and healthy daily choices.

The work is community-based: partners listen to local needs, co-create lesson materials, test activities with target groups, and adapt the programme for both the Dutch and Turkish contexts.

STARTED

Tuzla launch

The project began in January 2026 with partner meetings, a trainer workshop, field visits to local family centers, and agreements on roles, communication, identity, and the first website setup.

DEVELOPED

Amsterdam co-creation

Activities were tested with residents in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Feedback now guides the Tuzla needs analysis, train-the-trainer work, workshops, and public resources.
